There is a lot going on with the Earth, Sea & Space Center and we wanted to give you a quick snapshot of recent developments.
We have added former Navy SEAL and astronaut Chris Cassidy to our Advisory Board. Chris will bring incredible insights to the development of our Center and will also do an event with us at some point! Read about him on our About page. We received a $10,000 grant from the Joanne Lamprey Foundation, a division of the NH Charitable Fund, and a matching gift from Dr. Clyde Roper, a long-time supporter. We have been selected to receive funds from the NH Charitable Gaming Commission for 2022 and for future years! Watch our website for these dates. The pandemic did set us back on our fundraising for the last three years, but with things opening up again, we are getting back on track and looking to set up partnerships with several key companies as we move forward. We will be talking about these efforts—and how your company can help—in future write-ups. We are now on the Benevity Giving Platform, a national platform which vets charities and then allows them to be publicized so that companies may choose to offer support. With Benevity, employees can sign up to give on a regular basis and companies can match those gifts. Companies can also give outright.
